Georgia McCorkle, a senior at Agoura High in California, took third in the girls varsity 3-mile race at the Marmonte League championship meet on her home course. McCorkle clocked 17:59.07 to help Agoura finish fourth overall, advancing to the CIF-Southern Section Division 3 prelims Nov. 13 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut.
